Park Güell is a 17, 18 ha wide garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of el Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".
La Sagrada Família (Catalan, 'The Holy Family') is a large Roman Catholic basilica under construction in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Construction began in 1882 and its formal title is Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família. Antoni Gaudí worked on the project for over 40 years, devoting the last 15 years of his life entirely to this endeavour. On the subject of the extremely long construction period, Gaudí is said to have joked, "My client is not in a hurry." After Gaudí's death in 1926, work continued under the direction of Domènech Sugranyes until interrupted by the Spanish Civil War in 1935.
Parts of the unfinished building and Gaudí's models and workshop were destroyed during the war by Catalan anarchists. The design, as now being constructed, is based both on reconstructed versions of the lost plans and on modern adaptations. Since 1940 the architects Francesc Quintana, Isidre Puig Boada, Lluís Bonet i Gari and Francesc Cardoner have carried on the work. The current director and son of Lluís Bonet, Jordi Bonet i Armengol, has been introducing computers into the design and construction process since the 1980s. Mark Burry of New Zealand serves as Executive Architect and Researcher. Sculptures by J. Busquets, Etsuro Sotoo and the controversial Josep Subirachs decorate the fantastical façades.
兰布拉大道 (La Rambla)：从老城区穿出就到了连接菲尔旧港和市中心的加泰罗尼亚广场的著名的黄金一里步行街——兰布拉大道。大道既是花鸟鱼虫的集卖场，又是街头艺人的表演舞台，两边更林立了许多露天餐厅，难怪这里是人来人往，川流不息。最值得一体的是大道中间有一个专卖瓜果蔬菜鱼肉的市场(Mercat de la boqueria)。鲜榨的果汁一杯才1欧，瓜果拼盒1.5欧，蔬菜看着也很新鲜，海鲜和西班牙腊肠更是正点。

went to find our hostel once we reach at city center. Doing nothing much for the 1st day n We had just have a walk at La Ramble street ...
La Ramble street :La Rambla is an iconic and busy street in central Barcelona, popular with both tourists and locals alike. A 1.2 kilometer-long tree-lined pedestrian mall in the Barri Gòtic, it connects Plaça Catalunya in the center with the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell. Usually full of street theatre, cafés and market stalls, it serves as the emotional hub of Barcelona. When walking down La Rambla one can visit its many small shops or enjoy watching the various performances (actors, mimes etc.). There are also several vendors trying to sell paper figures they claim are capable of dancing. Cafes and restaurants on La Rambla often charge steep prices.La Rambla can be crowded, especially during the "prime-time" tourist season. For this reason, it has become a prime target for pickpockets. Lots of unwary tourists have had their wallets stolen on this street. Most recently robbery has also become an issue, even during daylight hours.
Hi HI... Im in Spain -Barcelona youth hostel. Well the enviroment here is quite ancientiost & old but then wat suprising me was their service. We have Breakfast for free and able to access internet at for free of charges too. Sound great right!!!
Today(29th), i woke up at 5am and have had my breakfast n chit chating while waiting up to 7am to departure from home to airport. Reach Bacerlona Airport at local time 1pm(12pm UK timezone). The airport at bacerlona is really BIG,suprised. Before come to Spai,many ppl do remind have to be careful n take care of ur beg while youŕe shopping or watever coz got a lot of thief around. Ah ha... Na beh, i had been experince while we are ahead to city center thru train. Well luckily i realise it early n Junk on her fully with my angry eyes to give her a notice. There was still a lot of victim beside me. Anyhow the thief(2guy and 1 women) had been catched at last when a guy reported to security guard. IM DAMN FUCKING GOOD WHEN saw they are been cactched.
Weŕe taking about half hour to finding our way to hostel,damn pissed off as our lugguge is so called heavy and walk around the city. City packed with a lot of ppl,shoper,art walker and lot lot....
After settle down, we had our so called LUNCH actually is DInner at McD & tea time at starbuck.
OK, here to stop and let my fingers to take a rest for a while... hahaha going to having our free breakfast(30th) now... See ya !!!
